5 - Having to create the website with no prior knowledge really forced us to learn the platform fairly well.

I feel like this assignment is pretty well laid out. Not really much that can be improved on other than possibly linking tutorials for us to watch on our own time.

1 - I had very little knowledge of how to use ArcPro or any other GIS software.
Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic? (1-5)
2 - I know the basics of ArcPro but I feel more overwhelmed with everything that the software can do.
Did the hands-on approach to this activity add to how much you were able to learn? (1-5)
3 - Being able to follow along with the tutorial made it easy to complete the assignment but I don't know much of how the commands work.
What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?
I feel like if the instructor went along with us in the tutorial and explained what the functions were actually doing, I would have a lot better grasp of ArcPro
Lab 3:
Prior to this activity, how would you rank yourself in knowledge about the topic? (1-5)
2 - After completing lab 2, it felt like the surface had just been scratched using the ArcPro software.
Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic? (1-5)
3 - This assignment helped nail down some of the concepts that were taught in Lab 2.
Did the hands-on approach to this activity add to how much you were able to learn? (1-5)
3 - This assignment differed from the Lab 2 because the instructor actually explained the functions were doing instead of just following a step by step tutorial. Being able to ask questions also was a great help.
What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?
I think that a video tutorial would help some if they get far behind during lab hours. They could use that to complete the rest of the assignment.
Lab 4:
Prior to this activity, how would you rank yourself in knowledge about the topic? (1-5)
2 - I had only used Pix4D once before this, so i knew what the software did, but not how it worked.
Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic? (1-5)
4 - This assignment taught me how to process images correctly using the Pix4D software.
Did the hands-on approach to this activity add to how much you were able to learn? (1-5)
3 - The hands on approach helped me remember the steps that I would use if I were to process images in the same way.
What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?
I think that maybe using a different data set than the one used in lab #3 could allow us to learn the Pix4D program a little better.
Lab 5:
Prior to this activity, how would you rank yourself in knowledge about the topic? (1-5)
4 - .At this point, I know how to create basic maps using ArcGIS.
Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic? (1-5)
4 - I did not necessarily learn any new skills but it was useful to learn about the Living Atlas, as well as making a map with minimal constraints.
Did the hands-on approach to this activity add to how much you were able to learn? (1-5)
3 - The tutorial showed us all the features of the Living Atlas, and showed us how to access all the different layers.
What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?
I think that this assignment was well written!
Lab 6:

4 - I have a pretty good idea of how Pix4D images get processed.
Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic? (1-5)
4 - I know now how to use the Raycloud Editor to correct ground control points
Did the hands-on approach to this activity add to how much you were able to learn? (1-5)
5 - The hands on approach helped us learn the processing more in depth.
What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?
The only thing that I think could be better is if we actually went out and collected the data, including GCPs, that would really help us learn the process of processing better.
Lab 7:

4 - I knew how to perform a volumetric analysis using a data set.
Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic? (1-5)
5 - After the activity, I solidified my previous knowledge with volumetric analysis and added how to perform a resampling of the data.
Did the hands-on approach to this activity add to how much you were able to learn? (1-5)
5 - Working with the 3 data sets forced us to learn how to resample and the perform a volumetric analysis.
What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?
This assignment was engaging, I think that the assignment document could have been more clear in terms of how to format blog post.
Lab 8:

2 - I don't know what the different spectral bands are

3 - I didn't know exactly what the functions did when I performed them

3 - It is kinda hard to learn about the lab without lecture
What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?
I think that for future assignments, maybe a help session on Webex might be useful.
Lab 9:

3 - I knew how to create maps and layers, but didn't know how to use Arc Collector.
Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic? (1-5)
4 - The Arc Collector app was very easy to learn, I could see it being very useful.
Did the hands-on approach to this activity add to how much you were able to learn? (1-5)
5 - This lab was easy enough to do without having the lecture.
What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?
It was unclear what we exactly needed to make a map of, I didn't know if you wanted one of the parks or the GCPs.
Lab 10:

2 - I have never heard of Measure Ground Control
Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic? (1-5)
4 - Measure seems really easy to use.
Did the hands-on approach to this activity add to how much you were able to learn? (1-5)
5 - This lab was easy enough to do without having the lecture.
What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?
I think that it would be really cool for us to actually fly a mission using Measure, maybe you could add extra credit for those that fly a mission using Measure.
